Evanston is a city that borders the north side of Chicago. It’s a unique mix of historic charm, college-town energy and lakeside beauty.

The Evanston Life magazine is a publication for Evanston residents featuring the arts and recreation activities of the city.

I collaborated with the City Manager and Citizen Engagement manager to redesign and rebrand the Arts and Recreation Activities guide. The name was changed to Life to express the vibrant, community-engaged personality of the city. The original magazine was a 2/C magazine. I designed a dynamic 4/C magazine with color coded sections, warm and inviting photography and a new format. The magazine captured the Life brand and increased awareness and participation of programs and events.
